- Project manager to lead “Vertical” Development efforts in Fixed Income Technology Division. Candidate must be located in or be willing to travel to Westchester office at least 3days per week. PM will report to Lead Project Manager and will report into the FID APG Operations Team. Position requires knowledge of Software Development cycle and understanding of current technology and technology issues
Required Skills: --Minimum 5 years of PM experience in IT initiatives --Must understand and be familiar with the lifecycles of systems development --Must have strong communication (oral and written) skills --Must be professional in approach and comfortable in corporate investment banking environment --Must be able to lead meetings, identify and follow up on issues, coordinate with interdependent areas (not necessarily within the team) --Must be comfortable with scheduling tools (i.e. MS Project) and MS Office --Must be able to span the business side of the project, helping to identify requirements, plan rollout and training, liaise and communicate with business team to understand their priorities and communicate it back to IT team, as well as scheduling work and milestones that impact BU and IT --Must be flexible and adapt quickly to changing requirements, dates, priorities. must be able to ramp up on new projects quickly. --Must have some type of IT development experience to understand nomenclature, necessary steps in completing IT initiatives
Required Skills: MS Project MS Office Suite Investment banking/Brokerage experience/exposure–Desired.
