Can someone please explain the scenarios when 39=8 will be used over session or biz rejects?

Tag 39=OrdStatus is not part of the SessionReject or BusinessMessageReject message. It is typically used in the ExecutionReport and OrderCancelReject to reject a request, e.g. to modify specific order attributes or to cancel an order.
