For both New Order Cross & Cross Order Cancel/Replace Request:

Need to include OrigClOrdID (41) in NoSides (552) repeating group.

Given CrossType (549) = 3, an order only partially executed can continue working. If this working order is then cancel/replaced, OrigClOrdID will then be needed.

Correction: Would need for Cross Order Cancel/Replace Request and Cross Order Cancel Request.

Also, raises questions:

  1. Would one use Cross Order Cancel/Replace Request and Cross Order Cancel Request for an order partially executed as a cross with remainder working? Or, would one use Order Cancel/Replace Request and Order Cancel Request?

  2. Given it is a cross, New Order - Cross should result in immediate execution (particularly for CrossType = 1 or 2 or 4. So when and how would one use Cross Order Cancel/Replace Request or Cross Order Cancel Request.

  3. If one were able to effect a Cross Order Cancel/Replace Request, would it be possible to effect a change that resulted in orders no longer being a cross and what is the impact would this have? For example, if the Side of one of the orders was changed?

This was addresssed in FIX 4.3 Draft #2 in July. Thank you. [PC20010628_17]
