A Software division for a major equity trading company with over 15 years experience developing it’s own trading and analytical systems is looking for a front-end team lead to lead the front-end development team on maintaining and developing front-ends for the company*s proprietary order management and risk monitoring systems. The candidate will work on the design, development, and implementation of a real-time trading application. The candidate would also serve as a subject matter expert on the system from a user perspective.
- C++ Front-end Graphical User Interface (GUI) Development experience
- TCP/IP socket layer programming a must
- Development experience on both Unix and NT / 2000 platforms.
- Strong knowledge of the GDI/Win32 API, MFC, C++ templates and STL
- Experience working on real-time applications with owner draw controls or knowledge of equity trading is a significant plus
- Technical leadership experience required
- Wall Street Experience required
- Excellent oral and written commutation skills are required
A range of experience levels will be considered for this position; however, a minimum of 3-5 years of development experience is required. Compensation will vary based on applicable experience.
