Hi Friends
Query on Allocation:
When and why are these tags used(if at all they are used)
Tag 366(AllocPrice)
Tag 153(AllocAvgPx)
Any help would be good.
Thanks,

Please refer to “Example Usage of Allocations and Ready-To-Book Messaging” in Volume 5 of the FIX spec (versions 4.3 and higher or “Appendix K” in version 4.2). In a nutshell, AllocPrice was added to support the Japanese practice and requirement of breaking down allocations by “executed price” and the example usage appendix illustrates this. AllocAvgPx supports the ability to express a different average price for some accounts vs. others (eg 1 portfolio may have created its order later and joined/participated in an active order later and thus not eligible to participate in the earlier trades and their prices).
