Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) a sophisticated and influential trading firm, active on most of the world’s major securities and derivatives exchanges is seeking an Application Support Engineer. As an integral part of SIG’s software development team, the Application Support Engineer (ASE) will work intimately with mission-critical proprietary trading application systems. Principal duties will include level-2 production support (escalated from trading room support or other operations staff), system configuration management, deployment activities, integration and testing support, and simulation environment support. Support entails monitoring status and functionality of systems and investigating, identifying, and resolving user and application problems in a timely manner.
Position qualifications include: Minimum of three years experience in a production support, systems administration, software testing or software development role; Experience working with both UNIX and Windows O/S; Linux a plus; FIX experience a plus; Ability to work well and troubleshoot quickly in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
