Architect/Development Lead - 2 consulting openings
Privately Owned Registered 100 million Broker Dealer (250 person firm with roughly 120 traders within Equities and Fixed Income) to support, grow, and enhance a homegrown Equities Program Trading Application - Basket of Orders, Routing Strategies, Execution to the Brokers, etc.:
Visual C++ / XML Front End / Windows / FIX Protocol (no current database but will need to create one for daily trade activity in Access or MySQL to track all basket orders, trade execution time, reconciliation, etc.)
No documentation and/or no comments in code
No separate GUI team - no separate backend team - need all in one
Architect/Development Level to White Board initially, and then grow the application in conjunction with the business flow - do not want to paint themselves in a corner so future enhancements need to be compatible with potential growth strategies.
