just wanted to know – in your opinion, what’s the best C++ based FIX engine available? What do you like most about it?

I think it’s very likely that every vendor will declare their engine is the best. I think a better approach would be to (privately) ask people you know who have had experience with multiple vendor FIX engines.

This is not a forum for shameless self-promotion.
You should probably ask the vendors on the “Product Discussion” forum as to their (surely unbiased) opinions.

For the record, mine is the best :slight_smile:
I like it best because it’s mine :slight_smile:
We are not a vendor of FIX engines, so we won’t share it, so you’ll have to look elsewhere.

My question was actually directed to the user community, not vendors. I wanted some feedback on people’s experience with commercial C++ FIX engines.

In any case… since you decided to build rather than buy, may I ask what was the primary motivation? Flexibility? Optimization?
