What’s the best way to get up to speed on FIX? I’m a developer and i’d like to do some skilling up at home.

Are there any vendors out there that provide Development servers supporting FIX?

Or are there any FIX servers I could download for free evaluation?

I guess many people reading this forum will have been through this and could provide valuable insight on how to get up the curve fastest.

I did exactly as you describe and found a Fix Engine in about 4 clicks(http://www.quickfixengine.org/). Thanks for your help.
