Hello All,

Could some one tell me how a Bloomberg data is represented ?

  1. The basic Tag and data representation.
  2. Do you have any sample messages on this ?
  3. Where can i find information exhaustively on all Bloomberg data formats (Sites and others different from www.bloomberg.com are also needed)? The basic message types and the representation is needed.

If someone could provide a sample message it would be very helpful.

  1. Bloomberg supports a varity of products via our FIX-based electronic trading platform. Message formats and data representation will differ based upon the product.

  2. Yes, we do have sample message formats and documentation detailing each available upon request. Please contact me directly and I will forward all such information to you.

  3. Information regarding this data is not currently available via the www.bloomberg.com website. I can direct you to this data on the Bloomberg Professional Software, or can forward to you directly.
