Our client is looking for an experienced QA engineer with experience in both automated and manual testing techniques. The candidate will focus on integration testing/certification testing with the firm’s clients and/or marketplaces using internally built systems over FIX protocol in a test environment, as well as verifying in the production environment. The candidate will be responsible for configuring data in the test environment, writing test plans, detailed test cases, executing test cases, both automated and manually, logging all incidents found into Clearquest, and coordinating between the client and the development team as issues arise.
Experience with FIX is required. Experience with Java, Oracle, Solaris, .Net technologies, Aegis FIX testing tools, and Clearquest is desired but not required. Assignment is immediate, 3 months, potential to be renewed.
The position is a contract position on location in Boston.
