Position Description
As a Business Systems Analyst for the Compliance Team, you will provide functional support for Capital’s Fixed Income compliance projects and issues. You will work directly with Investment Group associates and development teams to identify, analyze and translate needs into specifications for these highly complex and business-critical systems, including Charles River Development (CRD). This role will assist the daily compliance rule maintenance and manage system enhancements by working directly with business users to gather requirements, facilitating meetings, and coordinating communication between project team members
General knowledge of the investment industry is required; investment compliance application and/or Charles River knowledge a plus. Other requirements include: Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, system development methodologies and software life cycles; Strong ability to gather and assess user requirements and translate them in a logical and practical set of software components; Demonstrated experience in application support, analysis and troubleshooting as well as experience with software testing methodologies and user training. Must be able learn and understand the functionality and data model of multiple applications and have general database modeling knowledge. Project management skills and experience is also required, including knowledge of project/task estimation and vendor relationship management. The ability to work effectively in a global team environment and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary. College degree highly preferred.
