Our Client is searching for a Consultant who will function as a Business Analyst. This individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience within a financial services firm.

The role of the consultant will be working on analysis/design for high priority Global Collateral Management (GCM) projects. This resource will be responsible for creating business requirements, functional and design specifications; SIN/UNIT test plans; working closely with the Project Manager to ensure all BNY SDLC processes are completed for target projects. Target projects strategically generate revenue for the Global Collateral Management Program (Credit Line Monitoring, Rehypothecation, Global Vision, etc).

The primary functions of this position include;

  • Collateral Management or related experience.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis / QA skills and developing use cases and use case test scripts.
  • The business analyst aspects of the role entail detailed requirements gathering and functional specifications preparation.
  • The candidate should be knowledgeable and have experience with SDLC standards and Project Life Cycles.
  • The candidate must be able to interview business units, conduct walk through meetings, and prepare business requirements (Business Cases), functional requirements (Use Cases), and create test scripts (Use Case Test Scripts).

Professional Competencies/Skills/Attribute;

  • Knowledge of Brokerage Services.
  • Knowledge of technical developments and trends in application analysis, design, and development.
  • Excellent business writing skills and knowledge of modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of Use Case, UML, Activity / Sequencing diagramming and documentation.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, writing test plans and test scripts.
  • Effectively interface at all business levels.
