East coast brokerage operation require business analyst/project manager with a trading operations background who is keen to get closer to the front office piece. In terms of asset class, Fixed Income or Equities is where you’ll have gained your experience (cash or derivatives) and you’re now ready for the challenge of working directly with a trading systems technology group, gathering requirements (in fact leading this process), documenting requirements, preparing project plans, managing client expectations, etc. Any exposure to FIX desirable but not essential.
