Global investment bank actively seeks a technically strong C, C++ Developer with current experience delivering direct gateways to the London stock exchange. Experience should include current commercial experience using the L.S.E. specific TCP/IP protocols 6 months - 1 yr(NB highly advantageous to have previous experience {2-3yrs} with X25 as well) and previous connectivity experience; ideally using Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol; directly onto the gateway. Be able to demonstrate high level of commercial/academic knowledge and hands on experience in the core skills C, C++, Unix (preferably Solaris) and software engineering - 2 to 3 years experience. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of Java, Perl, Shell Scripts, electronic trading systems, TCP/IP protocols and Financial markets. You must be self-motivated, highly organised, and be able to work under pressure Ideally you will have a MSc/Phd postgraduate degree in a related computer oriented subject with a 2.1 or above.
