A top financial firm in Connecticut is seeking an experienced C++ Designer and Developer who is innovative and delivery focused, to play a key role in the development of the message delivery components of this firm’s product offerings. These products deliver real-time transactions between trading system and electronic customers, using standard protocols (such as FIX) and proprietary protocols.
The Development Expert will have Code Design and Development responsibilities. He/she will be responsible for development and testing of critical code in several systems, preparing class frameworks and educating other team members on development best practices using Object Oriented Design Patterns, C++ standard libraries.
Technical Skills / Experience

5+years C++ recent programming experience with Design Patterns, STL, and boost

3 years Multi-threaded application development experience

Windows operating system and VC++ development experience

Very strong analytical skills, very fast learner

University degree in Computer Science
