Trading system team at this firmis seeking an experienced IT Team Leader who is innovative and delivery focused, to play a key role in the detailed design and delivery of the message delivery components of product offerings. These products deliver real-time transactions between trading system and electronic customers, using standard protocols (such as FIX) and proprietary protocols.
The Team Leader will have both Project Management and System Architect responsibilities. As a Project Manager role, they will be responsible for developing project plans, assigning resources to tasks, on-going project management and project deliveries (including coordinating integration testing and UAT with other teams). As Systems Architect, they will be responsible for developing detailed technical specifications from functional requirements and high-level design, directing team members, and performing code reviews to insure code quality. The work will be organized in a series of projects that will require full life cycle support.
Technical Skills / Experience

5 years C++ programming experience with Design Patterns (required)

3 years Multi-threaded application development experience

Windows 2000 operating system, MS SQL server experience

3 years Financial communication protocols experience

Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol development experience (preferred)

1-2 years Project Management experience using MS Project (required)

Detailed Design experience with Strong analytical skills and documentation (required)
