A top financial technology firm in NYC is currently looking for a C#/FIX trading system architect to design and implement their state-of-the-art order management system using C# and Microsoft .NET technologies.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years experience programming in C++, Java, or C#
· Business knowledge of US domestic equities trading and order management systems is a strong plus
· Experience with transaction oriented database applications a plus
· Knowledge of SQL databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, etc.) is a strong plus· Experience with multi-threaded applications development is a plus
· Experience in technical design and architecture required
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
. Extensive experience with the FIX protocol
· Familiarity with product development life cycle
· 2+ years of Microsoft Windows NT/Windows 2000
· Knowledge of UML and Rational products is a plus
