Leading investment bank are seeking an experienced developer to work on the development of Client Connectivity & electronic trading systems covering multiple instrument types and product offerings globally.
You will be developing software, both by extending existing systems and developing new ones from scratch, technically you will have:
Strong C++ skills
Knowledge of Java desirable
Strong Object Oriented design & development skills
Strong UNIX / LINUX experience required.
Strong multi-threading skills and knowledge inter-process communications required.
RDBMS experience a positive (both Oracle & Sybase)
Basic knowledge of SQL & stored procedures desirable.
Strong problem solving skills
This is a permanent position based in London
