Senior C++ Application programmer
Overview: Responsible for software development activities to include application software design, implementation. The ideal candidate will work closely with the architecture group to provide architectural enhancements and development of new products. Required to design and implement applications that run as a a Windows 2000 services using C++, XML/XSLT, ODBC. Will work closely with existing developers to identify opportunities to re-use the current C++ code base.
Requirements:
· 3+ years experience programming in C++/VC++.
· Experience developing high performance, multi-threaded, scaleable applications.
· Experience working in a team environment
· Experience in technical design, good communication skills
· Approach problems creatively
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pluses:
· Experience with Java or C#
· Experience with Publish-Subscribe technology
· Working knowledge of UML diagrams
· Working knowledge of XML/XSLT
· Knowledge of UML and Rational products.
· US Domestic Equity business knowledge.
