I’m representing two roles for my client.
The first role is a straight backend C++ role. Minimum of 2 yrs. exp. developing and maintaining business-level components for large-scale distributed financial applications, automated test scripts, and 3rd party interfaces. An understanding of electronic financial messaging standards/protocols including FIX. Windows and Solaris exp. Knowledge of Oracle and Sybase. Working exp. with XML. Knowledge of Python is a big plus. Candidate must have Financial Exp. (ie. Equities preferred).
The second role is quite similar, however the candidate will be doing Oracle Database programming as well. Same technology. Minimum 2 yrs. of C++ exp. Minimum of 1 yr. of database programming with Oracle. Strong PL/SQL skills. Plus an understanding of FIX.
