Sales Support Technician
Summary:
Develop and support gui and infrastructure for entering and processing sales trades and allocations in Fixed Income. Develop and support batch jobs and other related software. Work with other team members and users to develop enhancements and fixes to the system.
Principal Responsibilities:
•Provide production support 2 days per week (on average)
•Develop, test and deploy enhancements and bug fixes to production for voice and electronic trade flows, including mostly gui work in C/UNIX and some server work in C//C++/UNIX.
•Interact with many communities (business, ops, systems admin, database, helpdesk, electronic trading team, …
Experience/Skills:
•Strong C/C++ and Sybase approximately 5 years of experience.
•Knowledgeable about fixed income products – including treasuries, agencies, corporates, tba’s, cmo’s and munis.
•Works well in team-environment, but as self-sufficiently as possible.
•Strong communications skills.
•Good at juggling multiple issues simultaneously.
•Ability to write scripts (csh, bash, ksh, perl)
