CAMERON SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES NEW TECHNICAL HIRES IN NORTH AMERICA AND ASIA PACIFIC TO SUPPORT INCREASED SALES AND DEVELOPMENT
NEW YORK, NY, December 9 2003 — Cameron Systems has appointed Development Architects Greg Orsini and Hugh Emberson to support the company’s product development and increasing number of FIX deployments globally.
Technical Director for North America, Greg Orsini joins Cameron Systems after recent positions at CEDEL Bank and Reuters, where he wrote the current Reuters FIX engine and worked on FIX deployments and integration. With more than 20 years experience in senior software development and systems architecture, Orsini worked for a number of large technology firms in the U.S. and UK including Fujitsu, Silicon Graphics, Hewlett-Packard and TIBCO.
Filling a Senior Development role for Cameron Systems in the Asia Pacific region, Hugh Emberson previously worked with Westpac Investment Management and Commonwealth Investment Management. At Westpac Emberson was responsible for the financial software project WIMTrade — an equities trading system based on the FIX protocol. Hugh has also worked extensively with the FIX protocol as a member of the FIX Protocol Encryption/Data Security workgroup [http://www.fixprotocol.org/cgi-bin/Workgroup.cqi?id=960506144] and is author of the open source FIX/SSL utility, Poppy.
