Cameron Systems to Demo Highly Available FIX Routing Hub at SIA Technology Conference

New York, NY — June 10, 2003 — Cameron Systems will demo the Highly Available FIX Routing Hub at this month’s SIA Technology Conference in New York.

High Availability provides an uninterrupted, end-to-end FIX service for trading infrastructure. FIX-FIX routing allows users to route FIX messages based on business logic, including session, message type and message field. Together they offer a highly available fault tolerant intelligent routing hub that is currently in production with Cameron Systems clients.

High Availability will be demo’ed over the three days at the conference by Cameron Systems Commercial Director, Martin Koopman, and Sales Director, Glenn Cruickshank.

The Highly Available Fault Tolerant Routing Hub uses CameronFIX Version 6.1, released in March 2003. CameronFIX 6.1 has now been widely and successfully deployed by customers and is the clear industry leader in functionality, scalability and ease of use.

Additional key features of CameronFIX v 6.1 include:

  • Connection Scheduling. Connections can be started, stopped and reset automatically based on a flexible timetable.
  • More FIX Dialects. CameronFIX can communicate with all FIX engines even when that FIX engine is non-standard.
  • Business Logic. Business Logic/Rules including routing rules, message normalization, validation, and message manipulation can be easily dropped into the engine.
  • Low Risk, Low Cost Integration.
  • Double the performance.

Cameron Systems is focussed on FIX products. Its flagship product is the CameronFIX engine, an implementation of the FIX Protocol. Cameron Systems has offices in New York, London and Melbourne, Australia. Its client base is global and in over 15 countries in North America, Europe and Asia. Major global clients include UBS Warburg/PaineWebber, Knight Securities, CIBC World Markets, Nomura Securities, Barclays Capital, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Credit Suisse First Boston and the Australian Stock Exchange.
