In our fix application, we are sending a resend request to client after logon. However, without replying back with the messages for resend request, we receive the client resend request too.
Then, we honour the resend request and reply back with the required resend messages and finally, again sent a resend request to client as we still see the gap.
Is this a valid behaviour? Should we send a resend request while a resend request is still pending?
(Do we have FIX standards rule governing this?)
