Can I get market data via FIX? Does FIX provide such facilities? Would you please elaborate your replies and give any exceptions to my query as well - if your answer is in positive, that is?

Yes, FIX supports market data. A very good place to start is with the FIX documentation freely available on this site. - see the “Technical/Specifications” link on the left side.

CameronFIX offers the Market Data Server which can convert any data feed into FIX. In addition, several exchanges, ECN’s and brokers offer a FIX market data feed. Please contact me offline if you would like additional information.
