In light of the Canadian exchange restructuring, there are now three major exchanges in Canada, each with its own market niche:
Toronto Stock Exchange: large/medium cap stocks
Canadian Venture Exchange: a merger of the Alberta and Vancouver stock exchanges. It specialises in small cap stocks
Montreal Exchange: all stock and index options and derivatives
Will the codes associated with the previous exchanges be modified to reflect this restructuring?
