Can the Order go from a cancelled state to any other state ? I see Appendix D does not have any examples illustrating state change from cancel.

No. Once the order state reaches cancelled it can not change state again.
You may receive messages on the order though even after receiving the cancelled message.

for a partilly filled cancelled day order, if the previous fill quantity is busted, what would the order status in the exchange?

No. Once the order state reaches cancelled it can not change state

Can you bust a Cancelled order ? Depending upon application and based on certification this will work . Because then BUST will go as 20=1 , 39=0|1 .

Also if Trader want to increase the quantity on the same cancelled order , he can increase the QTY and reopen the order . This hardly happens as by the time order is cancelled it is already ticketed .
