Hi !
I had a quick question regarding appendix B in Draft version of 4.2 Protocol Spec. Is there a typo there, or is the checksum calculated in Octal ?
Here is the context of my question from appendix B:
"For example, if the checksum had been calculated to be 274 then the modulo 256 value is 22. The value would be transmitted as |10=022| where "10=" is the tag for the checksum field. "

Hi Mark, it’s a typo.
Take a look at my posting (and subsequent replies) in this discussion group posted on 28/10/99.
Cheers!
