If you are using FIX.4.2 format Reuters codes then…

If you have access to a Reuters Terminal look at page JAPAN/PTS

If not, the answer is that a Chi-X Japan RIC will be of the form nnnn.CHJ

If you are interested the other PTS formats are…

kabu.com ==>nnnn.KAB
SBI Japannext ==> nnnn.JNX
Instinet Japan ==>nnnn.IXJ

Just for clarification: MIC values are an ISO standard whereas RIC is something provided by Reuters only. FIX recommends to use ISO standards (MIC) where possible but for FIX 4.2 you can also use RIC or the FIX values (see http://www.fixprotocol.org/specifications/exchanges.shtml). The latter is only extended if a MIC value cannot be obtained by the venue.
