Position Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience in product management with experience analyzing business cases, developing product definitions, defining detailed product specifications.
- Knowledge of worldwide electronic futures exchanges, their products and their matching engines/algorithms.
- Trading/trading system experience.
- Electronic trading software knowledge.
- Excellent understanding of technology, product/system/interface design.
- Be a liaison between the business and engineering group.
- Structured, organized, methodical thinker; Persistent, creative, tenacious work ethic.
- Ability to produce high quality, detailed requirements documents.
- Good critical judgment; ability to distill important information into concise, effective executive summaries.
- Good listening and interviewing skills; ability to elicit customer requirements, take detailed notes, pose relevant questions and understand the overall picture.
- Analyze and document business requirements, functions, and workflow processes relating to the products.
- Supports user acceptance testing.
- Provides documentation, for end-user training.
Position Description:
- Establish relationships with the exchanges in order to track, advise, and participate in the evolution of their electronic trading platforms.
- Develop understanding of all products traded on each exchange and the functionality of the exchanges’ trading platforms that support each product.
- Maintain and document exchange API’s.
- Communicate product requirements related to various exchanges across the Product Management and Engineering departments.
- Provide training to other departments in support of product development.
- Analyze product features for improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Interact with users to discuss needs and product features.
