Title: Professional Services Consultant
Our Professional Services division is seeking an experienced software engineering consultant to work with us in writing middle-tier API converters from FIX to FIX and from FIX to other APIs as well as Developing custom real-time, multi-threaded, high-throughput trading software.
Position responsibilities:
The Consultant will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, including the following:
§ Requirements gathering
§ Documentation
§ Design
§ Development
§ Testing
§ Implementation
Position qualifications:
3+ years of C++, VB and/or C# development experience.
Bachelors Degree (Computer Science preferred).
Strong ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Experience with real-time software and with client-server systems.
Strong in network programming including TCP/IP and multicast technologies.
Programming expertise on the FIX protocol.
Electronic trading software knowledge a plus.
Self-starter who works well in a team.
