My Client has a Equities order routing system that is sold into the Emerging Markets, Eastern Europe, Latin America, South America, Africa. They are looking to hire for 2 positions, both listed below.

The junior person will have worked within an Equities Operations groups and has a strong understanding of trade processing and reconciliation. They will be dealing with International clients who want to insure the receipt and confirmation of their trades. This is not a technical role however the person must be computer savvy. The more senior role is similar but the person will have more FIX experience.

Senior position: (up to $80k)

As above, but with stronger FIX knowledge and project management skills as follows:

Someone who can project manage client implementations and project manage UAT and install of new releases of our code at our premises. Review client and broker FIX specs and do gap analysis with our own specs, and translate that into an action plan for developers, understanding industry best practice for FIX to close the gap in the right way. Someone who can review FIX output in detail for all message types and make definitive determination of whether a particular sequence is acceptable.

Junior position: ($45-$55k)

Tech skills are more business analyst than system analyst focused, ability to write business specs, create project plans, assist in project management of client testing. Experience with User acceptance testing. Experience with FIX protocol- reviewing logs and reviewing specs of clients Experience with international markets. Language skills a plus.

Generally, personal situation that can accommodate some shift work, happy to work as part of a team, comfortable with communicating with clients in high pressure situations. Also a personal situation that is comfortable with the risk/reward profile of working with a young company, compared to a well-established one.
