CLSA SWITCHES TO CAMERONFIX FOR CONNECTIVITY TO INDIA’S BOMBAY & NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGES

LONDON, UK, Monday March 8, 2004 — Cameron Systems today announced its FIX protocol engine, CameronFIX, has been selected by Hong Kong-based brokerage and investment bank, CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, for FIX connectivity to India’s Bombay and National Stock Exchanges.

The highly scalable CameronFIX engine was selected ahead of CLSA’s existing vendor FIX engine solution for this new project.

When researching the alternative FIX messaging solutions, the challenge for CLSA was to find a FIX engine that was easily integrated with Tata Consulting’s trading system and fully supported by the vendor.

"With ease of implementation and support from Cameron Systems, CLSA was able to be the first broker to provide truly real-time execution reports to institutional investors for India’s National and Bombay Stock Exchanges," said Rajah T, Chief Information Officer, CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets. "The CameronFIX engine has proven to be very reliable in meeting our business needs to date."

Speaking on the deployment of CameronFIX for connectivity with India’s Bombay and National Stock Exchanges, Cameron Systems Sales Director Glenn Cruickshank said, "We welcome CLSA as a new Cameron Systems customer in the Asia Pacific region. We were able to deliver the flexibility and support that CLSA required for their FIX Messaging Solution and look forward to working with them on future FIX projects."

CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets is a unit of France’s Credit Agricole/Credit Lyonnais banking group, and is actively supported by 650 staff globally.

CameronFIX is a global member of the FIX Protocol organisation [www.fixprotocol.org].

Cameron Systems is next exhibiting in Japan at the 5th Annual International Banking & Securities Systems Forum at the Tokyo Stock Exchange March 18 – 19, in Europe at Trade Tech Paris April 27 – 29, and in the U.S. at the SIA Technology Management Exhibit June 8 – 10, New York.
