Connecting to BOVESPA via FIX

Hi

We are trying to research possibilities on how we can connect to BOVESPA(Exch in Brazil) via FIX.

We have a branch offices in Brazil and they are a registered broker in BOVESPA. I know that our traders in Brazil have BOVESPA terminals and we would like to explore the possibility to route orders directly via fix to their BOVESPA terminals.

So basically we are trying to find out if there is a way to connect to BOVESPA via FIX.

I am also woking on this. BM&F has FIX, but BOVESPA does not yet as far as they told me. We are implementing our own API into the BOVESPA gateway, if you are interested in using that soultion, please contact me.

Hi Nam and Joe,

Unfortunatle we don’t accept direct fix connections, but (as Joe said) we have a “Translator gateway” in order to suport several messages of fix version 4.1 and you can connect your appl to our trade system through our “Translator gateway”

If you think that can be usufull to you, please feel free to get in touch direct at my email (mzanardo@bovespa.com.br).

It’s important tha you identify your broker code (or name) at Bovespa, because we only can provide connection to registered brokers.
