All,

the FAST 1.2 proposal was submitted to the Global Technical Committee earlier this week and the GTC decided at a meeting yesterday that the proposal should enter a public comment period before formal voting.

The continued work in the mdowg will now focus on finishing the FIX over FAST recommendation.

I would also like to start compiling a number FAST encoded streams together with validated decoded streams. I envision these streams to be made available to assist in the (regression) testing process.

Please comment on what kinds of test traces that you might be interested in getting access to.
