I’m trying to understand how to set up a simple FIX exchange rate lookup. As far as I can tell, the simple version is:

connect to host:port
send login details
send msgtype = V
returns data inclusive of rate
send logout
disconnect

Is that right?

I assume that any commands after login are automatically granted access and that i dont have to send back any session id with msgtype=v ?
