Here is a short description of my previous work, using Java and C++
Languages, utilizing UNIX and NT environments:
Knight Securities, Jersey City, NJ. Developed Knight’s Institutional
Order Management System (IOM). Defined detailed requirements, designed architecture,
Performed system analysis, created functional specifications, and lead the development
Of an order management system for the institutional trading desk. The IOM system is based
on standard protocols (TCP/IP, FIX, RMI, JMS) utilizing a WebLogic application framework,
a Tibco Rendezvous message bus, and Sybase with a complex GUI employing Java technologies.
Knight Financial, White Plains, NY. Developed Knight Financials Order Routing System.
Defined detailed requirements, performed system analysis, created functional specifications,
and managed development of a financial protocol router. The router was developed using Java and
supported CORBA binding for external Order Management Applications utilizing Sybase for
persistent storage. Also developed monitoring and control servlets and HTML code utilizing XML/XSL
running under WebLogic, Jrun, and TomCat servlet engines.
JP Morgan Chase, Investment Bank; New York, NY
Designed and ran session- and application-level tests to onboard over 30 institutional
Equity clients and intermediaries using FIX protocol. Oversaw UAT and regression
Transaction testing with domestic and international counterparties Automated system
Integration tests using Winrunner and event-driven order simulation
Distributed Network Solutions, NJ. Designed and developed a FIXproductivity suite, which
included the following tools:
FIXhelp - FIX monitoring tool used by Trade support and help desk members, offers Connectivity
information, order chaining, order Blotter, IOI blotter, alert processing, searching,
statistics, and much more.
FIXqa - Automated testing tool for FIX based environment geared for developers, testers and
certifiers. This product builds on-top of a proven FIXengine, enables communication over all
FIX versions, either as client or server.
FIXrouter - Multi-platform based FIX engine, that can enable FIX 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4
transaction exchange. The engine exports CORBA binding for client applications.
