Tradeweb is looking to ad a developer to it’s TradeXpress team to help build and enhance paperless account allocations and confirmations sytem. The right candidate will have solid experience with Visual C++, STL, SQL, TCP/IP, XML and Schemas, XSLT. Other skills that will contribute to success in this role are MS/MQ, PERL, TCP/IP based protocols and applications experience with FIX messaging.
Experience in the securities business is a plus but not required. More important is having a real interest in and knowledge of the business processes being automated in past jobs. Besides code design and development, the job at TradeWeb will involve analysis of new STP facilities and interaction with customer professionals and technologists as they attempt connecting their businesses to our systems.
High-pressure software forensics is another important aspect of the job - the ability to tackle and resolve problems online under fire. Along with that is the ability to understand, debug, enhance and adapt code written by others.
