Senior developer with exceptional knowledge of the presentation and data handling of positions, transactions, pricing, P&L, terms/conditions, and risk information for unique trading desk consumers of this data in a multi-strategy, multi-geography buy-side financial institution.
Must be familiar with the design and construction of services-based monitoring tools for traders. Should be working closely with mix of technologists and trading professionals currently, with a desire to build and or extend 3rd party products to meet Trading requirements. Will likely be senior and/or manage team of 2-3 technologists. Must have pre-existing knowledge of fixed income derivative, equity, option, OTC swap, and straight debt instruments and the handling of each with respect to P&L, pricing, and risk.
Must be exceptionally good at C++ server & C#/.net interfaces. Strong DB (Sybase preferred) skills a plus. Strong communicator to broad audience, including intra-Technology, Operations, Trading, and Management. Must be willing to balance delivery between tactical (shorter term) and strategic (longer term), and explicitly communicate tradeoffs to the team
