SUMMARY:
Direct the quality review process of systems development and operations in the design, testing and implementation phases to assure the delivery of quality production systems for the Exchange
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Supervise staff of Directors, Managers and Quality Assurance Analysts
• Plan, specify, manage and implement Software Quality Assurance standards and procedures
• Manage testing across all environments, design master test plans and schedules, and manage the QA organization
• Identify test design and implementation methodologies
• Manage the design and development of test cases
• Develop automated test strategies and test scripts to support regression testing
• Ensure systems and software products adhere to business and functional specifications
• Evaluate quality risk for product releases, changes, and fixes
• Document outcome of testing results and recommend methods of correction
• Ensure project life cycle development standards are maintained
• Ensure proper documentation for systems is created and maintained
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills
• Strong understanding of QA principles and processes
• Experience with software development and hardware preferred
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in C, C++, Java, .Net
• Experience in test automation and creating complex, script-based test suites required
• Winrunner and Loadrunner experience preferred
• Knowledge of Windows required. Knowledge of Unix and Linux preferred.
• Very strong analytic skills and detail-orientation
• Highly organized and demonstrated project-management skills
• Results-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Specific skills and experience in design and testing procedures
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience
• Minimum of seven years Software QA experience and five years of people management experience.
Education
• BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering, MS preferred.
