Top-tier Financial Services company is seeking a senior architect/developer to work on building a state of the art message processing/workflow platform that will be the infrastructure for Trading Systems server side applications. Candidates for this position will be responsible for designing and building high performance C++ middleware components and mentoring users of the platform. Candidates will be building applications based on databases (e.g. Informix,DB2, Oracle, Sybase, etc.) as well as working with financial messaging protocols and specifications (e.g. FIX/SWIFT).
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have experience developing middleware APIs and
Frameworks as well as experience developing network software on UNIX in C/C++, a firm understanding of OOA/OOD techniques and modern design patterns and a deep understanding of large-scale software architecture and development process. Web Services Experience (e.g. SOAP/WSDL) a plus. Experience with MQSeries Integrator, Documentum, Weblogic Integrator also a plus. B.S. in CS or Electrical Engineering or the equivalent is preferred.
