A rewarding leadership role in the Investment Systems Application Group for The Capital Group. You will be at the forefront of a dynamic and challenging securities industry. Managing a vast technical portfolio, your focus is around managing tools and technology to optimize trading efficiency.
The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of trading products specifically within the equities market. Foreign exchange, and Fixed Income knowledge is preferred, but not required for the role. Strong leadership skills, proper understanding of the tools and technology, along with the ability to supervise development across a variety of projects are critical for the position. Proven ability in staying abreast of market trends and regulatory issues that may affect trading applications. Recognized ability to lead a high performing team that makes commitments and delivers upon them. Candidate of interest must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to assess and communicate trading strategies across a broad group of users. Practical problem solving abilities and able to bring complex risk assessments to bear upon real world business and client problems is necessary. Aspirant should possess an exemplary work ethic & a detail orientation with the capability to see the big picture. Has the capacity to make decisions while considering impacts to stakeholders and partners. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college is strongly preferred. At least seven years related professional experience within the trading & investment industry and three years in management is required.
This position is located in Brea, CA and relocation assistance is offered.
