Hi, everyone,
I have seen EOD mentioned many times, but are not
sure about what it covers exactly.
Can someone please explain it in details?

EOD (End of day) is not officially part of the FPL spec, but it is implemented in many FIX Engines. It usually resets the incoming/outgoing sequence numbers, and either erases, backs up, or moves to a history directory/table the persistence flat files and database tables (or does all three), depending on the FIX Engine.
It is useful when dealing with international connections, where the end-of-day may occur in the middle of the trading day in the user’s time zone.
