The successful candidates will join a global team of approximately 15 business analysts who as a pool will provide expertise across all aspects of the new fidessa v5 implementation. Each team member will be expected to take responsibility as the lead analyst on at least one subject and also assist other lead analysts. The team as a whole is responsible for the consistency and coherence of the overall solution definition.
Areas to be covered by the team include:
•Definition of business flows
•Client Connectivity (FIX)
•Global Order Routing
•Market Connectivity
•Trade & Position Management
•Automated Retail Trading
•Globalisation of Static Data
•Interfaces to Middle & Back Office Systems
•Definition of Front End requirements
•Integration with other specialised Trading Systems
•Integration with non-Equity products
•Migration Strategy
•Trade Reporting
•Definition of Test Plans
•Implementation
The role offers significant exposure to front office business users.
Some Team Leading or Management may be required depending upon the activity. The successful candidate would be expected to co-ordinate with Technical resources in order to see project work through from inception to delivery.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
•Graduate
•At least 3 years investment banking previous experience as a business analyst within the Equities business.
•Experience of the fidessa product set, preferably v5
•Detailed knowledge of at least 2 of the following
•Order Management and Client Connectivity
•Programme Trading (preferably using BEAM)
•Core TMAR/PMAC functions
•Cross Currency processing
•Back & Middle Office interfacing
•FTW
•Retail flows
•US Trade Flows
•Asian Trade Flows
•Knowledge of project lifecycle and experience of working in a structured project environment
