Summary:
This international Investment Bank is looking for an experienced IT manager with extensive experience in front office equity trading systems.

Duties include:
Provide technical analyses and recommendations to
management
Establish and ensure development processes are in
place and implemented
Guide, review, and approve all in-house modifications to equity trading systems
Coordinate implementation efforts with vendors,
infrastructure, QA, and development
Negotiate and motivate staff from cross-functional
work groups
Oversee day-to-day vendor activities
Review and validate all resource invoices from vendors
Produce monthly implementation plans and weekly status
Ensure information dissemination regarding trading
systems to all impacted parties
Knowledge, skills and abilities include:
Extensive knowledge of client/server technology
(hardware and software), NYFIX, and NASDAQ systems as well as ECNs required.
Hands on experience with Royalblue’s Fidessa system a strong plus.
AT LEAST - 5 years coordinating implementations and information distribution
AT LEAST - 3 years evaluating various technical
solutions/impacts to business requests
Ability to work independently and as a management team member
Ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Knowledge of MS Project, PowerPoint, VISIO, Excel, and Word
Bachelors Degree necessary
