Leading global investment bank requires a number of Project Manager, Development Manager or Technical Architects with trading systems/software implementation experience for it’s Equities Trading Group. Candidates will have prior financial markets project management experience selecting and implementing software applications for trading - including front-office - for Equities or Equity Derivatives.
This is a Senior Associate level hire running a range of projects within one of the core profit centres of this well known business. Therefore candidates are likely to have had at least 4-5 years prior Project Management experience in an investment bank, running the RFP and selection then the implementation of multimillion dollar applications into the bank.
Experience
Candidates will be well versed in the systems and process of the Global Equity Markets and ideally Equities Trading - prior Sales/Trading business contact is critical.
Must be able to demonstrate at least 2 examples of running a multimillion projects - experience of implementing one of the following solutions of particular benefit - Fidessa, Imagine, Calypso, Orc, GBST, Front Arena, Reuters Equity products or similar off-the-shelf trading systems. Experience implementing/developing in-house systems is also of interest. Exposure to Java, J2EE, Unix/Solaris and Sybase technologies also desirable.
