Our client is establishing a Technology Center in Houston. The center will be responsible for the development and support of large complex applications critical to the major business areas. Teams in the center will work closely with other members of the investment bank technology group who are located in major financial centers around the world.
They are currently seeking a talented individual to join the Technology Center in the role of Equity Trading Systems IT Manager (Service Delivery Manager).
This role would be responsible for managing the support center of four to six people for the Equities trading systems. The primary responsibility is to monitor the Appia FIX engine that is the point of entry for the electronic connectivity from clients and internal systems. This requires a strong knowledge of equity trading systems and order routing. The system is developed in Java, TIBCO RV and Sybase and runs on SUN servers running Solaris.
This is a fulltime, permanent position located in Houston, TX.
