European FIX Protocol Committees’ User Survey Gives Top Rankings to CameronFIX

New York, NY: January 3, 2003 — Cameron Systems’ FIX engine, CameronFIX, has scored the top rankings in FIX engines by the Sell Side in the inaugural European FIX Users Survey 2002, released by the European FIX Committee today.
The survey results rated CameronFIX number one for FIX engine vendor satisfaction – technical performance, achieving a perfect score of 5.0/5.0. CameronFIX also rated equal number one in vendor FIX engines for functional coverage, as well as equal number one for overall vendor satisfaction. In the satisfaction of support staff category, CameronFIX was rated number two. The results saw CameronFIX ranked higher than Javelin Technologies in all four categories, and higher than Financial Fusion Server in three categories and equal in the fourth (functional coverage).
The FIX Users Survey, completed by 25 European broker/dealers, ranked all major FIX engines available on the market.

FIX adoption is now wide spread among the Sell Side with 85% of participants providing this capability.
DCE Consultants carried out the European FIX Users Survey between April and November 2002, on behalf of the European FIX Committee.
The CameronFIX reputation is established globally with clients including UBS Warburg, Credit Suisse First Boston, Knight Securities, Barclays Capital, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and SWIFT.
