A top bank in Chicago (or their NYC office) is looking for an application support person to work with proprietary trading tool developed in house by the firm’s in exchange traded derivatives IT group. A web based tool, it is used both by internal users across divisions and also by external clients and provides the ability to trade orders on derivative exchanges throughout the world.
Tech skills:
Broad knowledge of operating systems, Multi-tier application software, web based systems, networking, databases, messaging technologies, exchange connectivity, infrastructure with preferences or experience in:
Wintel environments (XP, w2k, IIS), Oracle: Strong SQL, DML / DDL, FIX API, GL software, MISS infrastructure, TCP IP, PL/SQL, Linux, Networking fundamentals, VMS, Microsoft Office products, Web technologies such as HTML, ASP.
